In the production of Bormstaal, a new band saw has been integrated.
This fully CNC automated saw has a big working memory, whereby allmost imediately repeat commands can be performed. By the high accuracy and working speed of materials up to 420x410mm or round 420mm, we are able to deliver fast and accurate.

Sidebank, 12000x20mm. /1200 ton

Since december 2008 Bormstaal has a sidebank with witch we can form metalplate over a maximum length of 12 meters.

Trough this sidebank Bormstaal is now a leading company in typesetting of long metalplates. A pressure of 1200 ton gives the possibility to form a metal plate, with a length of 12 meters en a maximum thicknes of 20mm, completely according to the customers wishes.
Combined with the cutting and drilling capacity of Bormstaal, we are able to set allready prepared pieces of metalplate immediately in serveral shapesl
